PRIVACY POLICY
Background and purpose
This Privacy Policy explains how JSF Property Management Pty Ltd and its related entities (we, us or our) collect, use, disclose and store personal information.

We collect personal information where it is reasonably necessary for our functions and activities, including where:

- you are a tenant, landlord, buyer or seller;
- you make an enquiry about a property;
- you engage us to manage or sell a property;
- you supply goods or services to us; or
- you apply for employment with us.
We collect and use personal information for purposes including:
- assessing tenancy applications;
- verifying identity;
- conducting reference, credit or tenancy database checks;
- preparing and managing tenancy agreements;
- facilitating property sales and purchases;
- communicating with tenants, landlords, buyers and sellers;
- managing repairs, maintenance and inspections;
- complying with legal and regulatory obligations; and
- operating and improving our business, including seeking feedback and reviews.
How we collect personal information
We may collect personal information:
- directly from you in person, by telephone, by email, through our website, or via online application platforms;
- from tenancy application platforms or identity verification services;
- from referees, employers, previous landlords or agents;
- from tenancy databases and credit reporting bodies; and
- from other parties involved in a property transaction, such as agents, brokers, lawyers or government bodies.
Where it is considered unreasonable or impractical to collect information directly from you, we may collect it from third parties.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.
We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes without your consent.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers or technology platforms may store or process data overseas. Where this occurs, we will take reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is handled in accordance with Australian laws.
Security of personal information
We store personal information in both paper and electronic form. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
